My Phreaknic Talk

Here's the video from my talk at PhreakNIC 11 a couple weeks ago. I'm the guy in black against the all black background standing on the left edge of the frame for most of the video. Jason Scott was going to try and make sure he recorded a higher quality video of my talk, but his car got booted and thus he was late. Anyway, you can still hear me talk, and that's what's important. Unfortunately the last half of the talk was very interactive, with me chatting with the audience, and they didn't have microphones, so they're almost impossible to hear. I tried to remember to repeat their comments for the recording, but I didn't always remember.

Thanks again to PhreakNIC for letting me blather away for an hour and to all those who came to the talk and participated. Hopefully it's just the first of many. Or at least more.

So, I watched the video and liked it a lot. You could go far, man. Clearly you were having fun and so were your audience.

I can't wait to read this book when it comes out. Will you be at Shmoocon?

I will indeed be at Shmoocon, or at least that's the plan. What could be nicer than February in DC? I'm going to pitch an update for the 20 minute talks if they're doing those again...
